About Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University
Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University was established in 2003 and is named after Shyamji Krishna Verma of Mandvi, an eminent leader who encouraged the independence movement from outside India. Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University is also known as Kachchh University. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). To inspire students and provide them with a platform, Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma Kachchh University also organises youth cultural and sports activities. More than 500 students participated in the Inter University cultural and Sports Activities organised by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi (AIU).
The university provides courses in the faculties of arts, commerce, science, education, law, technology, engineering, and pharmacy. Its not that famous university but for the Geology you can surely I would say must prefer the Kachchh University as you will get the best professors and faculty and the bes field work you will ever have in the field of Geology. The faculty and the labs and the Geological Museum is best of the all. You will have amazing experience of Kachchh field. The fossils and the crystals everything is in here in the Museum.
